Farm Favorite: Blueberry Muffins

These blueberry muffins are a favorite on our little farm and perfect for a chilly morning snack during the school year. Doubling the recipe isn't even a question...

Blueberry Muffins
1/2c butter
1 1/4c sugar
2 eggs
2c flour
2t. baking powder
1/2t salt
1/2c milk
2c blueberries

Cream butter, gradually add sugar. Add eggs one at a time beating well. Mix together the flour, baking powder and salt and add that to the creamed mixture. Mix in milk then fold in the blueberries. Put in greased muffin pans and sprinkle the tops with cane sugar.
Bake at 375 for 25 minutes. Cool before removing!

Hello Jenna!
Thank you for sharing that recipe, those muffins look wonderful!

I know exactly what you mean by "keeping the stores in business" and making the family a little rounder. Lol. ;)

I read in a cookbook(!) that
"The best way to make yourself look thin is to fatten up the people around you"!
:)

Have a blessed day in Christ!
Your friend,

Mmm, Mmm, Mmm! Blueberry muffins are THE BEST! ;D I just love 'em! :) Thank you for sharing the recipe!

HeHe, yeah, I keep our family in sweets and treats too. Baking is so much fun! I must get out at least 5 cookbooks each time we go to the library, not including the tons I have already borrowed that I have at home. ;) Lol! And with all the cooking blogs, and recipe sites too, I can hardly choose what to bake! ;D Everything looks so good!

Yes, thank you for reminding me, I haven't been able to go read Jasmine's post yet. I'll do that now! ;)

Blessings!

Jenna what is your new back ground called? Do you mind if I get it to?

Sounds delicious! I am *always* baking, too. I am surprised we don't all weigh 300 lbs.

Green Gardening Girl,
I don't remember what the background is called, but it's under "fall" at the Cutest blog on the block! You're welcome to use it~

Jenna, I am a major baking nut. Currently, I have a new recipe in the ovne--but I think it is going to be a flop. Oh well. You live and you learn....and it doesn't stop me from getting in the kitchen.

I don't call it a hobby--I call it an obbession =)
