Week 3: Meal Challenge!

Welcome!

Very Yummy Pizza Crust:
Recipe from the Easy Pizza Crust website
4 cups all purpose or baking flour
2 cups warm water
2 tablespoons instant dry yeast
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon salt

Mix all these ingredients into a bowl and stir them together until a sticky dough is formed.  Cover the bowl  with a moist kitchen towel and let the dough rise in a warm area for about 30 minutes.
Turn the dough out  onto a floured area and knead with your hands about 5 to 10 times.  Roll the dough to about one half inch  thick and top with sauce and your desired pizza toppings.  You will want to bake this pizza crust for about  15 to 18 minutes.  Set your oven to 375 degrees F.

~ I doubled the batch and think that it would make 3-4 pizza's, depending on your preference of crust thickness~

Marinara Sauce
8 oz. can tomato sauce
2 tbsp. Italian Seasoning
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. black pepper

Combine all ingredients in microwave safe bowl and heat on high for 2 minutes. Remove and stir. Add salt to taste. Makes an excellent pizza sauce or dipping sauce for bread sticks.

~I tripled the tomato sauce and just doubled the seasoning...it was plenty salty and all~

Julianne's Italian Sausage Soup

Queen Beaz's Buffalo Chicken Dip

Johanna's Venison Burger Steak

Nela's Meaty Pasta Casserole

Elisabeth's Scalloped Potatoes with Ham

Monica's Stromboli
If you participated but your link is not in the post above, please leave a comment and I will add you!

For week #4 I would love to see 25 people participate in the meal challenge. Would you consider? Everyone would benefit from seeing the different recipes and perhaps will give you some ideas on what to add to your menu!

Looking forward seeing all the recipes!

Hello,
You have such a nice blog.
I just noticed the statement about waiting on your sidebar. I've been married for many years. There is something for which I've been waiting a very long time.

Your words about waiting have helped me tonight.
Thank you.

Love, love pizza! Sadly, I have never made my own marinara, so thank you for sharing this recipe! :)
