So, I tried again...
This time it is Baked Mostaccoli served with a healthy green salad, delicious garlic bread and raving remarks:)
Baked Mostaccoli
2lb. Mostaccoli Noodles (cooked) ~ I used Penne Rigate which is what we had on hand ~
2lb. Ricotta Cheese ~ I used Cream Cheese ~
4 Eggs
1lb. Mozzarella
1C. Parmesan or Romano Cheese
1lb. Swiss Cheese
1t. Sugar
1t. Salt
1t. Pepper
3 Cans or Jars Spaghetti Sauce
Mix together Ricotta, Eggs, Parmesan, Romano, Sugar, Salt and Pepper. Shred together Mozzarella and Swiss Cheese. Lightly grease pans. Layer beginning with Sauce, Noodles, Shredded Cheese, Ricotta mixture then Sauce again. Top with cheese. Be sure to use plenty of sauce between the layers to ensure moistness. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes. One recipe makes a heaping 9"x13" pan or one average 9"x13" and 2 bread pans.
This freezes very well!

I make this when I have to bring a meal to a new mama, or a family with someone sick. Who doesn't love pasta and cheese??? And I always send a fresh green salad, garlic toast, and....brownies!
Good job, Jenna!
looks yummy! I agree who doesn't love Pasta???

Mmmmm... cheese...the epitome of amazing. I think I will make mozzarella tomorrow.
I loved your mom's remark! Around our house everyone is taught to say, "it's not my favorite." Glad I'm not the only one who turns out unfavorite and unimpressive meals. :)
hi jenna!
I tried to comment on the green tomato post but it wouldn't let me. :) In answer to your request I have heard that you can make green tomato pickles. Here is a link.
